Complete Leakage Protection
Highlights of the RainShield

Unprotected walls/surfaces can lead to water leakage damaging most valuable interiors, causing disease and many more water related health problems. For air conditioned room, these also contribute dramatically to increased energy use, as conditioned air leaks out and outside air infiltrates the building. Rainsheld products and primers can seal the wall surface, even if it is textured, covering deficiencies and providing a continuous surface membrane.

RainShield wall that stay cool in the sun by minimizing solar absorption and maximizing thermal emission - lessens the flow of heat from the wall into the building, reducing the need for space cooling energy in conditioned buildings. For a commercial building, the decrease in annual cooling load is typically much greater than the increase in annual heating load.

The highlight of the RainShield is its energy savings and global warming mitigation in its simplest essence; RainShield offer high solar reflectance. This technology achieved primarily by reflecting the visible, infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths of the sun, which in turn reduces heat transfer to the building. Cool walls are also are high in thermal emittance (the ability to radiate absorbed, or non-reflected solar energy).  Cool walls can reportedly save up to 15% off the annual air-conditioning energy use in a single-story building.
